Certainly some good points. However A&M's offense most closely resembles Ole Miss of the teams you have played and there is a reason we have won 4 or 5 SEC games by double digits.

That reason is turnover margin.

Against major conference teams, there is only one game A&M has been in the negative in turnover margin. That was their loss against ND.

SC has been in the minus in turnover margin in all their losses and some of their wins.

That's not a knock. While turnovers have a luck component, it's also about preparation. A&M is a better team than SC when it comes to turnovers.

SC will be better at special teams. A&M will likely do better in the turnover game.

But if you were to promise me that SC would be EVEN in turnovers in the upcoming game, I might very well pick SC to win. SC would have likely beaten both Alabama and LSU if they had been even in turnovers instead of in the negative.

**edit** also, I don't think A&M resembles Ole Miss at all.

Agreed.

And as much as people keep propping up the SC defense, explain to me how in the hell SC is going to score on A&M?

They have any above average run game, but A&Ms biggest strength is stopping the run.

USC likes to blitz the QB and get sacks and TO's

The vast majority of SC's sacks and QB pressures are from the front 4, not from blitzing. It's the major reason the secondary generates so many picks - they're covering WRs while the QB is under duress. Emmanwori is feasting as a result.

DC White isn't above blitzing, but it's not a staple in this version of the defense. He uses it selectively, and often times it's for run box support. Carolina likes to run a 4-2-5 when they can, and so Emmanwori is used like a Spur/hybrid LB. Hes likely a 1st round pick, at current moment.

Winner of TOs wins this game. I've said that since the beginning. Neither offense is going to light up the other's defense.

Reed has yet to turn the ball over this year. Hopefully that's not a jinx but he is very responsible with the football and since A&M runs heavily with him in the game that reduces the chances of TO's. USC likes to make plays with those DE's crashing on the QB and unless A&M gets behind that isn't likely a look they see very much.

The Ole Miss comparison was more about how they like to run the football if they can. They ran it 41 times against you for 3 TD's (though only 140 yards). A&M's O with Reed is probably more like UT in terms of an athletic QB who likes to run. The stats for A&M's offense are hard to gauge because it so different depending on who is the QB so the overall stats for the season are less impressive but our preference is always to run it down your throat. I just think that 50lb per man weight difference could cause some real problems for you.
