Fellow tiger fans quit crying and trying to make this an excuse. I expect this to be the closest and best LSU/Bama game in years and LSU’s best chance to win for a few years

I remember we never really wanted Divinity in the first place. Next man up

It’s not crippling but I wouldn’t say it’s not a big deal, it makes finding a pass rush that much more of a challenge. Aranda will have to earn his money this week because if we can’t get a pass rush then ankle or no ankle Tua can sit in the pocket and find one of those receivers all day long.

Yeah he wasn't even that good tbh. He was just holding us back!

Honestly you guys will be fine, you lose a little bit of experience but have plenty of time to make adjustments. I will take LSU having one less pass rusher and run stopper as a Bama fan.

Fulton at nickel, stunt Chaisson up the middle. Money.

Hasn't Bama lost a few defensive players this year? Couple that with Tuna not being 100%.
Not too worried about it.

I agree

I don't remember Devin White turning the Bama game around for us last year when he came back in the second half.

I doubt Divinity would have either, but his skills were valid enough given his experience.

True Dat. Divinity is very good, but no one could replace White. Next man up, Bama isn't going to wait on us just like we aren't going to wait on Tua.

Man, all we heard last year was DW was good for a minimum 14 point swing...

If so that was an ignorant take. Mathieu, possibly LSU’s best defender (definitely biggest game changer) in history, was good for 7-10 ppg at best.

Delpit 100% targeted in the end zone on the opening drive, you’ll never convince me they didn’t wave it off bc of the DW blowback.

When you pay a guy 2.5 million to be your DC it’s to scheme around situations like this, in games like this. We’ll see if he’s worth the money on Saturday, not that it’s fair to expect us to shut Bama down but giving up 35 instead of 45 could be the difference between a Win and a Loss.

In all honesty i think Queen played a better game against Bama than White did

Quite honestly, the biggest issue I see is a loss of depth but BAMA has not really sustained drives (like 6 to 8 minute drives) this year and has scored quick so is depth really that big of an issue?

I guess it leaves less room for error...

I’m betting we try to play ball control to try to keep Tua on the sidelines and out of rhythm. Not sure I think that’s the best strategy, I’d rather us play pedal to the metal and let the chips fall where they may.

Yea that sucks White never got to play a down in last years game. He would have made a difference for sure.
