NOBODY complained in the 70s and 80s when we were whipping their arse every year.

Once reason for our advantage back then was the Gators playing Auburn the week before and we usually had a creampuff and likewise for Auburn's success against us.Everything changed with SOS arrival.

You would then be impacting GT's schedule & who knows how many other ACC schools.

Damn, your AD ran circles around ours at the time.

1974 Houston
1975 Richmond
1976 Cincinnati
1977 Richmond
1978 VMI (1AA)
1979 Virginia
1980 South Carolina (good team)

We still played Auburn before y'all 1990-2002 (1993 exception) but started having a bye week in-between.

And Auburn's obviously did the same to ours and still is.Hell it took us long enough to catch up to SOS and finally get an off week before WLOCP

Actually... you wouldn’t... it’s non conference ... it shouldn’t effect the ACC schedule... other than GT having to play UGA and Clemson the way the Dawgs have to play AU and Tech... but my preference would be to make Auburn come to Athens in back to back.., that would be the fair thing to do... it doesn’t screw with Techs schedule, it gets UGA back to what their schedule was as well as AU getting back to theirs with opposite Bama and UGA .., the conference should just fix it...,, or move Auburn to the East and Mizzou to the west and tell Bama to pick UT or AU for your rival. .... UGAs schedule was fine till the Dawgs were forced to give for the good of the conference... time someone else gives

The SEC allowed LSU to play 2 @ Fl., Fl. 2 @ LSU, & us 2 @ Aub., so why can't they do it too?

I won't get into the Aub. East topic as it's been discussed numerous times on here.

It will very likely be moved. Georgia fans are now seeing the advantages of having an additional SEC game in Athens. Good for recruiting, good for the city of Athens. As unique as the Jax setting is many fans are getting tired of all the hassle involved in attending this game in Jax - poor traffic planning- especially post game, a pro stadium that is starting to show its age, surly stadium workers and inflated prices for hotels, etc, Kirby and many of UGAs top donors reportedly want it moved. I’ll miss the WLOCP - I’ve attended every game since 1969- but nothing beats Athens on a fall afternoon. If I had to make a wager, I’d say it’s moving. The momentum is really building at Georgia for a move. Of course, in the years UF is the home team they could still play in Jax if they choose.

Fake news, UG just trying to shake down Jax for more money.
