I watched the Mizzou game last night & was not that impressed with your OL, Franklin, your DB's or DGB.
Berkstreeter looked good tho...
But I don't think what I saw last night is what I'll see this Sat. & no way I'd make a prediction of a blowout based on what I saw, because it was the FIRST game and most teams (sans Bama) usually have rust & kinks to work out...

Burnette has a bruised sternum and will be back.
Theus had a Grade 1 sprain and will be back.
Mitchell isquestionable. It's not a high ankle sprain, but Richt said it swole up pretty good so I'd list him as doubtful.
Those close to Butts-Mehre say that Ogletree will be back so long as he passes his piss test this week.
However, they also said Rambo is doubtful. Quite frankly, I don't know what to expect. Rambo has been vehemently apologetic for what happened, he immediately called the coaches to tell them he had made a mistake, and considering that I wouldn't be surprised to see him playing against Mizzou. He's a senior and he knows what happened was bad. No lesson to be learned by making him sit up to 4 games of his last season

Mizzou beat the shite out of a team that is literally the bottom of the barrel for CFB. UGA sleep walked through a game against a below average FBS team. Only thing you can take away is that Gurley is a stud in the making and Mizzou was at least ready to play a shitty opponent

I agree. Reason I'm picking UGA is because I have more confidence in their offense against Mizzou's defense, than Mizzou's offense on UGA's defense.
Hope you didn't put money down on that...? Cause you gonna be a.....

I know Mizzou looked pretty good yesterday (SELA) and UGA didn't look all that impressive. But UGA was missing several starters on defense. What is their status for the game next week? I think it will come down to if Mizzou can score with UGA because I don't see their defense slowing down UGA's offense. For UGA, can they make Franklin uncomfortable in the pocket? Can they avoid being caught up in the trash-talk coming from Mizzou's players? Interesting game to say the least. I have UGA winning a 38-24ish type of game. But I'll be watching for sure
For one, you didn't see all of what Mizzou is capable of on offense. Playing some freshman in there, first live game for thier O-line ect. They aint show'n everything if anything lastnight. they can pass, they can run, they can block and execute plays. Defense can get turnovers, and score.....but they have issues covering recievers. Thats the weakness I seen.
I hope Georgia has all thier players next week. I don't want to hear a bunch of excuses if Mizzou beat'm.
Yeh Georgia can make Franklin uncomfortable in the pocket, Georgia just better have thier linbackers ready to run.
Trashtalk'n Mizzou players? Wha....where.....when????

fricking all of them are probably still gonna be out and it's shitty because they are so damn good. malcolm mitchell is hurt and then sanders commings and bacarri rambo are suspended and those are our three best players in the secondary. ogletree is suspended and he is fricking good. so 4 defensive starters are probably not gonna play next saturday. sucks but i think we still win.

This line is so played out and so dumb. Why would you want good players, including an all American safety to play against you? A win is a win and I want my opponent to be as disadvantaged as possible. Missouri should hope that ogletree and Rambo don't play.

Mizzou's offensive line is what concerns me most. There have been many injuries and I was concerned about our O-line before any of that happened.
I'm not too concerned with our defense being able to handle UGA (and it's been awhile since I've had any confidence in our defense) but again, O-line is the key. We have some shifty backs and Franklin is a decent power runner but if the O-line breaks down all night then Mizzou won't get much accomplished.
Mizzou is a solid team and thankfully this game is at home so I don't envision any jitters about the first SEC game. I don't know the vegas line on this one but UGA has to be favored and I would agree with that. Either way the game will probably be within a touchdown, imo.

Isn't N Iowa an FCS team? What happened there?

Likewise but if your defense doesn't play better than they did yesterday, we will lose.

I see this game being close, but the Dawgs pulling it out. I am concerned about Franklin from a match-up standpoint. Dawgs don't play the spread/ mobile QB's all that well.
