be different if Sandusky was fricking kids at home. dude was doing it right in the locker room, flying in kids for games, still allowed around the program for years after it had been reported... it wasnt a secret to any of those coaches. they are all pos human beings. that entire university did everything they could to cover it up and bury as much as they could. frick them all.

You're accusing McQueary of purjury?

What's the current standing of the defamation lawsuit from Schiano against McQueary or the other assistants that perpetuated that rumor?

You mean perjury? It was a freaking civil trial. Have you not asked yourself why he didn't mention anything like that in the actual Sandusky trial?

No, purjury, the more serious version.

Yet again, where are the defamation lawsuits?

Did Schiano sue him for saying it in a civil trial?

That's crazy.

The way the national media is knighting for Schiano over these baseless allegations, you'd think them being so unfounded a person of his no nonsense caliber would want that squashed and out of public perception all around.

That's so weird that a man with resources wouldn't pursue a lawsuit, if nothing other than to clear his name and ensure the world knew he wasn't associated with the evil actions that took place there...

Hmm... odd...

I hope you have to attempt a defamation suit one day, and while risking a million dollar profession. It didn't even get released until last year. Tennessee fans are vilifying him because they wanted someone better as their coach, and now you're obsessively vilifying him to somehow make your fan base seem like less of a joke.

Bro, I appreciate that input, I was asking where are the defamation lawsuits he filed for someone lying about him though on a national stage?

What is the status of that?

TIA

Defamation lawsuits are quite difficult to win, but I would suspect Schiano now has verifiable proof Mcqueary's testimony has in fact harmed his reputation and ability to get work.

I would expect a lawsuit to materialize soon vs McQueary, if it was false of course.

By the way, I do suspect the only reason TN mounted the protest was because the hire was not Gruden or on Grudens perceived level.

Unlikely he has a claim for defamation against Mcqueary. He didn’t say Schiano did or did not do anything, he simply said what someone else allegedly said about Schiano

Doesn't have to be convicted. This isn't a court case. This is the hiring of a football coach.

Would you hire Art Briles? Canadian Football wouldn't. He hasn't been convicted either. Not even charged. Nothing. May never coach again. Life isn't fair?

I saw he only brought it up during a deposition, and pretty much everyone involved in McQueary's story disputed his claims/recollection.

It was never brought into trial BECAUSE it was so easily disputed.
