Last year was quite difficult, hopefully we will improve this year. Every blue blood has had down periods. As far as OU joining SEC I hope you realize Mizzou is closer to .500 in sec than they were in big 12
OU will be fine. A true blue blood.
I just don't think you currently have the HC to get there.
He walked into a shitshow, so year 1 is forgivable. But, in the age of transfers and NIL, I imagine he has some major ground to make up.
Worst OU team since the 90s last year

Their jock sniffers online couldn't even fathom the kid going to any other school. Turns out they were never in the race. LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!
This is just the beginning of your decay. Get used to disappointment, paperclips.
To be fair, the kid said OU was his "leader" for a long time...
He also said that if his decision was solely about "player development" he would have gone to OU.
But it has always been my policy to never criticize a kid for picking a school in his home state. Particularly if he plans on continuing to live there after his career is over.

I for one fail to understand how a “program “ like yours can lol at anyone. You as fans simply don’t know how to act. But I suppose going 54 years without a Co-Conference title it would be difficult to know how to act. I respect the other blue blood programs and yes there is good nature ribbing back and forth but the respect is there

Looking forward to our games

The NCAA has very little power anymore but something tells me the # of scholarships is something they still have control over.
No, but the HC does.
Unless background was bad on the kid, he was a take. I'd venture to say it's price if no other red flags.

It's the arrogance based on history. Other than that, welcome to the SEC!

Their arrogance is going to rub posters the wrong ways. Yet they can’t help it lol.

Not sure Georgia had room for him. I heard they were very near their number limit of recruits.
Please stop. Lick your wounds quietly and earn respect.

I heard the Dawgs were nearly at the limit a couple of commitments ago. The NCAA has very little power anymore but something tells me the # of scholarships is something they still have control over.
No limits per class, only the 85 scholarship limit on the roster. Most people who follow the actual sport instead of spending all of their time shitting all over other programs, know this.

Check out these homer takes from OU writers.
With no proof, the local guys are reporting Sooners lost bc it was NIL.

Sooner fans obviously don’t want to hear this, but while Nwaneri would have been a prime addition for any program in the country, the reality of the matter is Missouri probably needs him more than Oklahoma does, looking at the decision from a wider lens.
What were the deciding factors that led to Nwaneri’s choice of Missouri?
The biggest factor is believed to be the NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) money that was tied to Missouri’s scholarship offer. A new state law in Missouri allows a student-athlete to begin receiving payments as early as Aug. 28. You can bet that the Sooners offered a sweet NIL deal as well, but it probably wasn’t as lucrative nor as timely as Missouri’s.
