Billy Napier is a good coach.

ShoeF has just been a dumpster fire ever since their murder and domestic abuse enabling head coach faked his retirement.

They have to exploit Tom Petty's death in every 4th quarter to get feels for the game. It's pretty pathetic.

I think Napier is a good coach.

But this has the feel of "temporary".
In the next 2 or 3 years, it feels like they will go for a big name hire as they won't be so desperate.

Fond memories of the 2017 LSU/uf game when TGBFTL interrupted their 'tribute'.

Four Notes!

UK has beaten Florida 2 times in 30 plus years. I think the jokes on UK.

Mark Stoops with his 59-53 record is about to become UK's all time winningest coach.
LOL

When you’re done being triggered see if you can add up how many of those wins Billy put on the board.

I know it's not SEC, but Napier does have a 40-12 coaching record. I'd say that's a good enough record to warrant a big time job?

Or it's because he took over a G5 program that didn't even have a winning record before he arrived and then improved it to the point of getting 10+ win seasons in his final 3 of 4 years there.

Year before Napier Louisiana went 5-7.

They went 7-7 in his first year, and followed that up with 11-3, 10-1 and 12-1.

A P5 program was going to hire him this year one way or another, the only question was who.
