So Nick Saban signs a contract paying him until he is going to be 73 years old, yet you spin that into a thread laughing at Alabama fans for thinking he will still be coaching by then?

Are you legit retarded or just pretending to be?

Can we all just be honest with ourselves here? Everybody except for gumps want CNS to retire asap.

I kind of hope he sticks around long enough to start having some bad seasons. The fallout between the gumps and midget would be epic.

He may be like Bobby Bowden. Bowden admitted he didn't want to retire,

I read some things years back that Bowden also kept working because he was getting some of his family members out of financial holes they had dug. Not sure how true that is

Bad news OP. Nick Saban is actually getting younger pursuant to the terms of his deal with the devil.

This is about twenty years ago at Michigan State:

amazing what money, hair plugs/dye, contacts and veneers can do, but I will admit Saban looks much younger than he is

He gets a $3.2 million bonus if he stays until 2022. I think he's shooting for that as his retirement year.

Bowden's son took him and a bunch of other high profile people for a lot of money in a Ponzi scheme. That might be involved in his decision to stay.

Probably not as epic as the 6 year LSU melt culminating in hiring Ed O. Not sure that's possible to top. Bama will just go out and hire the next Saban.

My Dad still works he's 72. Our President is 70. Why should Saban retire if he doesn't want to?

The real fear should be when takes overs as AD, recruits 5 star coaches like HS kids, forces the process at the macro level to reach all aspects of the Ath. Dept holding coaches accountable for performance and building an empire of support staffs. Then, goes on to finish his dynasty across all sports.

Jk. Bama is a football school. All other sports will be banned as unproductive leaches to Saban's hard earned football revenue generating machine.
