A few facts based on On3 player rankings.
There is only one uncommitted top 100 player. Auburn is not on his radar.
Auburn has zero top 20 commits, one top 50 commit, and three top 100 commits.
For comparison (top 20, top 50, top 100).
Auburn: 0, 1, 3
Alabama: 1, 5, 9
LSU: 2, 4, 7
Georgia: 1, 3, 7
Texas: 3, 5, 7
Ouch.

Talent was a lesser issue against upper tier SEC teams, but the primary issue I saw was no consistent offensive identity leading to turnovers and erratic gameday decisions. Between Hunter and the stud WR who's killing it for the Chargers right now, just average coaching could've gotten Auburn to 8 wins.
