LSU can kill several birds at same time, “cheaply,” including NCAA, police investigations, charges about title 8, etc. Using the allegations against Guise et Al. and the publicly embarrassing soft porn posted pictures with GF, they could get rid of O “for cause” nullifying buyout. And they could also terminate half the coaching staff under the Penn State/Baylor precedent. That would leave enough money to buy out, or negotiate a settlement with Pelini...
And then basically start over... unfortunately that still leaves an undisciplined mob of talented players who don’t give a rats... and who thinks they can just do whatever they want to do.

Most of the allegations against LSU currently have nothing to do with Orgeron.
