Judge didn't seem very impressed by Chambliss' testimony based on the questions he was asking
He seems like a good, honest kid that's probably being pushed into bending the truth (aka lying) about what happened by OM, his agent, and maybe even his family.
There is no logical reason why he would stay at Ole Miss for 2026. He had a huge end of the season and the QB class is the weakest it will ever be.

There are a ton of posters like him across these boards
They just throw shite against the wall
99% of the time they are wrong
But they won’t shut the frick up about that 1% where they were correct
It’s probably because they are dumb and lonely

Because it bothers him and Ole Miss that they got that close to the mountaintop, and they think they can just replicate that again next year like it's that easy
Had Ole Miss not been selected in the playoffs, this wouldn't be happening

There are like 5 million logical reasons he would return to OM for 2026

NCAA Lawyer to Trinidad:
Did you practice in 2022? Yes
Were you limited in any way during practice in 2022? No
Uhhhh case closed?

I can think of about 5 million reasons why he wants to stay...

I think they've made that pretty clear. They can only hypothesize about where he'll be drafted, but they know how much money he'll make coming back to Ole Miss. That's what all this is about. From Chambliss' side, he has guaranteed money probably in the realm of $5 million for 2026. From Ole Miss, they want their starting QB back. So there's plenty of logic as to why they're seeking this relief, but that doesn't give his case any more merit. I think it's very telling that the majority of the testimony today was about what he stands to gain by coming back, not so much as to why he should be given a medical redshirt for 2022.

Chambliss was only on the stand for maybe 20-25 minutes after the Court resumed, and he was the only witness who testified after the lunch recess.

If he went in the top half of the first round of the draft, he'd be making more than that by year 2 AND be one year closer to a massive contract extension.

I've been able to follow the thread to see what's going on. Just not the same when you can't see it.
Thanks for the update.

If this was a hearing to see whether or not Chambliss was allowed to play at LSU next year, that motherfricker would be in here crying 10 lb tears.

I don't think the judge knows what contemporaneous means and the NCAA's lawyer is struggling explaining it to him

The judge is a stereotypical Mississippi Good 'Ol Boy. Zero chance he doesn't grant the injunction.
