Starkville gets an interception. A screen pass, wide open, goes off the RB's helmet and bounces straight up into the air on 2nd and Goal. Jackets ball on their 5.

Oxford connects on a halfback toss pass for a 15-yard TD pass. 25-16 Oxford leads with 4:13 left in third quarter. This game is over.

Starkville throws an INT on 1st and Goal on the 9 with 5:14 left. Oxford still leads 25-16 and will advance to the MHSAA 6A State Championship!

Oxford held on to win. Will play Oak Grove (Plumlee's former school) in the championship next week.
