I can easily blame him when he hemmed and hawed for a month acting like he might stay here when he was really trying to run out the clock and have his cake and eat it to. Sumrall didn’t do that. He was clear with Tulane about his intentions and they had no inclination that he’d stay.

Don’t try to manipulate us and say you didn’t.

Lane and LSU will bring out the best and worst in each other. We will probably kick your arse several times along the way. It may end ugly. A&M still wont win shite.

I’m not saying what Ole Miss is doing is wrong. I’m saying they went about it the same way and the school went different routes. It doesn’t make Lane the bad guy and Sumrall the good guy.

Being in conference is the bigger issue. If the Alabama job opens next year, would you allow Lane to coach LSU in the playoffs if he was heading to Bama? (Hypothetically - I’m by no means calling that shot).

Then blame him, what will that get you? LOL, thanks for giving us Lane earlier than anticipated all the while sabotaging your playoff chances. I am personally happy Ole Miss did this for us.

He made a decision. His decision is what brought about his not coaching in the playoffs.

Wrong actually.

Look at it like this.... Lane accepted a new job and wanted to give his current employer a 2wk notice. His current employer said, no thanks, you can leave now.

Not the employees fault, but rather the employer.

I’m over here encouraging the Darth Vader character for Lane.

He can’t pull off Luke Skywalker role for shite.

As evidenced by that interview…

So if the Bama job opens up, your cool with Lane coaching LSU in the playoffs while headed to Bama?

Accuracy. As opposed to what y’all are arguing for saying a 50 year old man doesn’t know the consequences of his actions.

The kids did fine without him for the last month, because make no mistake, he wasn’t actually here.

Right actually. He made the decision to accept the new job. You can rationalize all you want to, but you can't escape that fact.

I think that's what everyone outside of LSU is really mad about... is because he accepted a new job.

Soooo all non-LSU fans think Lane should have stayed in Oxford and not accepted a new job.

But you will!

If he is at LSU for 10+ years, that means y’all knocked it out of the park. If it’s 2-3, it’s BK 2.0

It’s not a matter of if, but a matter of when.
