When Kentucky was up 13 with like 10 min to go I think it was, I knew deep down they would find a way to give up 2 TDs and lose by a point.

Everything that happened you could see happening a mile away in slow motion

I haven't cried over a loss in football since I was a child. Probably like 8 or 9 or 10

Wow. Beat a team 31 times in a row and still talking smack to them.

At this point you need to take their smack talk like dealing with a young child. You let em go and wish em luck.

When they eventually beat you it will be bigger than any naty Florida has won.

I never root against Kentucky or Vanderbilt. They are like watching the special olympics. You just want them to do well and be proud because they can never compete otherwise.

What grown man cries over a football game? The only football games I have ever cried over were Bama 1/9/12, Bama 2012, Bama 2013, Bama 2014, Bama 2015 and Bama 2016. And I'll probably cry ahead of time for Bama 2017, but I'm only in my 30s.

I thought the older gentlemen sitting in front of me was going to have a heart attack he was so angry.

I mentioned this in the game thread, UK fans were invested heavily, and cheered amazing last night, and losing that game will have an impact for a few weeks. I hope we can get on a winning streak and try to put this behind us quickly.

I cried over the Ole Miss game in 2008. However; I had just lost my father two weeks prior, and my dog of 15 years two days before. So it wasn't necessarily just the game, it was just a cluster freak for my emotions that month. So yep. Cried. Right at the stadium in my truck with my girlfriend at the time not knowing what to do. She hadn't seen me cry even at the funeral. So I'm sure it shocked her. Was kind of just my final breaking point. Weird it was a football game, but it is what it is. I've cried once since, at a children's hospital I volunteered at. Seeing a kid I had made friends with not make it killed me. Cried with his family, and once again, no shame in it.

If you ever want to beat them, you gotta play'em like you want to kill 'em.

I have felt really bad for Kentucky, and I don't mean that in a condescending way, I just feel bad especially because of the UK fans that really wanted to win and allowed themselves to get invested and then to lose like that. I remember what that was like when Bama sucked over a decade ago, when there were some games I wanted so badly to win...that LSU game in 2005 killed me, I remember crying. I really believed I would get to see Bama in the national title game that year and was crushed. Granted, I was a kid, but maybe that's why the pain of that loss resonated with me. Bama also later lost in the Iron Bowl for the 4th time in a row, and that sucked, too. And of course the years before that were sheer suckery, but I still had the childlike hope that somehow I would see Bama go undefeated and be in the championship game every time football season came around because I grew up listening to my dad talk about Bear Bryant and the Bama glory days when he grew up, and I wanted to experience something like that so bad. It's crazy to think about all that now, after witnessing so much success under Saban. Even if it's just football and not important in the grand scheme of the universe, I'm thankful I've gotten to see it. OK, I'm done now.

I have never been so certain that a team was about to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. The crowd knew it too.
