I just get aggravated at the wide spectrum that these guys use the word cheater.

Their program sucks so they start blaming it on everyone else cheating. Get over it and win on the field or stfu about it. The whining just makes them even more pussified than the team logo beside their name does.

Jatabe quoted all the facts for my statement and his. he gave you the link.

And I read the link, and I even linked the penalty levied. Which was nada, zip, zero.

And all this is over something that happened...or should I say didn't happen...twenty-four years ago.

And that's the best ya'll can come up with. Sad.

I really hope you aren't talking about LSU, because if you are...Scoreboard?

Listen all of you. It's not my job, nor is it LSU's, to make ya'll feel better about your school's record on compliance.

There are only a few schools in the country that can do that, and none of them are named LSU, and none of them are even in the SEC.

That's just the facts. deal with it.

again, you bring up something that was not the discussion. was the penalty ever mentioned? We were rebuting on your false statements, which you still refuse to admit you were wrong. You keep using the, so called auburn method of, deflect, deflect.

Dude has been wrong in just about every post in this thread. When someone points out he is wrong, he simply deflects by acting like this conversation had anything to do with comparing LSU's history with the NCAA to someone else's. He is either mentally retarded or a complete douche homer or both. No need to keep responding to him.

My alma mater (UT-Arlington) played Memphis in the first round of the NCAA mens basketball tournament, the year Memphis' season was vacated.

As Matt pointed out, I was talking about the OP. But since you bring it up, you beat us this year, but I wouldnt get cocky, we took the 2 before it and we are even since Saban arrived. You need a reason to be haughty before you start acting that way.

And again, you miss the point. The only charge the compliance director discusses in the Public Report Summary...twenty-four years ago...was the assistant buying the recruit a meal.

It's obvious none of the other allegations stuck.

And please don't act like you're acting out of some civic obligation. We've been down this road before, and you and the other haters keep coming up against the same brick wall.

Namely, that LSU is one of the least-penalized schools in the country. Always has been, and god willing, always will be.

It's not like the LSU fans are making threads beating our chest about what a clean record we have. We are usually responding to the - douchebag - fans who would rather try to drag another school's clean name through the mud than wish for their school to be more like that.

I would love to log onto the site and not have to defend LSU, but I do what I feel I must.

My apologies, then. I was up all night working on something, and just took it out of context.

Yes, we are 2-2 since Saban got to Alabama, and god willing, we'll be 3-2 against you guys after next year's game.

Again, you are wrong. Why dont you read the report and you shall see, it was not just a purchased meal. All the other stuff was included in the report for a reason, it stuck. Hence Major Violation.

No one ever asked you to defend LSU, but when you spew false statements people are going to correct you.

Please deflect some more on the truth, that you were incorrect

Here is a link, this time why dont you read the summary of the violations. Hint, it starts on page 4

I used to play strip poker with two girls who cheated. Those bitches used to get me naked and take advantage of me.

There, I finally found an outlet to let those scarring moments go. I feel better now.

They sometimes asked me to touch them in bad places and that too.

The worst part was I never knew whether they were going to cheat to get me naked first or to get themselves naked first.

Irony, thy name is NYCAuburn.

Here is your link, thrown back in your face: Legislative Services Database - LSDBi

Now type in Louisiana State, leave the dates set between 01/01/1953 and 04/26/2011, and this time check the boxes marked Reduction in Financial Aid, Recruiting, Show Cause Action, and Vacation of Record.

So how many results do you get? let me help you:

quote:

No Results Found

There are not items that match your search criteria. Use the browser's back button and try again.

Now try the same search with only Show Cause Action, and Vacation of Record. What do you get? Nothing again.

Ok, now we'll try Financial Aid, Recruiting, ahh we get the same investigation, but lo and behold, the penalties were leveled on the basketball team, not the football team. Oh gee.

Again, you're full of shite. LSU wasn't charged with anything other than buying a recruit a cheeseburger, and was given only a one year probationary monitoring period as a result.

It's sad, that you would rather try and drag another school through the mud than work to repair the shoddy record of your own school's compliance.

But instead, you try and flame LSU over our very first NCAA investigation ever in ninety-three years of playing football.

It's worth repeating what the NCAA had to say about this incident twenty-four years ago:

quote:

The violations found in football were not considered serious in nature," said Frank J. Remington, chair, NCAA Committee on Infractions, "and they did not demonstrate a pattern of abuse by the football coaching staff.

Again, according to the NCAA, LSU has been penalized twice in our history so far. That's better than every other school in last year's top twenty five.

again, deflect, deflect. again, you are full of fail. what is your computer running, a 286 processor, you logging on with prodigy? If you go to the ruling PDF doc, please show me where it says in the "summary of violations" that all that happened was a "cheeseburger". When you do that, I will gladly admit that I am wrong. You brought up facts before. So show me these facts by listing the summary of all the violations and that it was only a cheeseburger.

But I highly doubt you will do this and continue to deflect away from the fact that you made false statements. Do you ever answer with the actual topic being discussed?

And LSU still wasn't given anything other than probation without sanctions...twenty-four years ago after their very first NCAA investigation.

What, it would finally sink in this time after failing to all the other times? Sure, whatever:

quote:

"The violations found in football were not considered serious in nature," said Frank J. Remington, chair, NCAA Committee on Infractions, "and they did not demonstrate a pattern of abuse by the football coaching staff.

"It should be emphasized, however, that one current assistant football coach violated a recruiting rule when he transported a prospect to a restaurant and entertained the young man for a meal (cheeseburger from Whataburger).

Although that violation was not considered serious in itself, the incident was compounded when the coach subsequently gave false information to the NCAA and his institution regarding the matter.

"The committee, therefore, imposed disciplinary action against the assistant coach and determined after a review of all findings that a one-year probationary period would be an appropriate monitoring period."

That do it for you? Finally? Here, I'll even use visual aids:

Again your post=fail

I give you a d- for trying. At least you know where the ncaa report is. Next step is going to page 4, then maybe you can post the "summary of violations" now if you had any reading comprehension skills you would deduce that means the list of the violations.

I like how you have added cheeseburger yet, hmm, I didn't know whataburger=seafood restaurant. Must be the finest in your part of town.

I know baby steps, but you got to start somewhere.
