I know Bama's Howard didn't have the year he was hoping for but he'll still be the 2nd or 3rd TE off the board wouldn't he ?

That low on Howard?

I would think NFL would be eyeing him up pretty well.

Just haven't heard anything about it. I mean, he will clearly how scouts drooling, but it just depends. If he gets a grade of 3rd round he is going to stay. If gets a 1st-2nd round grade I could see him going. I just really have no idea.

Probably so - but where does that equate in rounds? That is really all that matters. I'm guessing we will hear a lot more about him post-title game.

Eh, I think A'Shawn is pretty much gone. He's going to get a 1st round grade, Saban is going to tell him to leave. I don't see much reason he would stick around another year.

That's why I said in my original post I expect he declares. Howard could have worked out on a beach for the past three years and the NFL would still have drafted him.

I think he just has the frame and prototype to be a 2nd or 3rd round pick. Plus it must get pretty boring doing nothing but block for games at a time.

Or in the case of last year, for an entire year at a time.

Yea, I think it comes down to if he thinks he can improve that stock with one more year. Honestly, I have no idea if he can or not. I don't know if catching 25 balls next year does anything in terms of bumping him up or not. If it doesn't then I don't see any reason for him to stick around and my guess is he is gone.

There's at least three tight ends I would take over him.

Hunter Henry is clearly the #1 tight end. The next group is Hooper from Stanford, Butt from Michigan and Howard. I would guess if all were in the draft Henry would go somewhere in the first 50ish picks and the other 3 would get drafted somewhere between 2nd and 4th round.

Is WR really a need for them? You have Antonio Brown, and Martavis Bryant is a physical freak who could be a stud.

Thats just wishful thinking. Robinson is almost a guaranteed top 20 pick. Allen will be a high pick as well.

My question to Bama fans is, do you expect any of these guys decisions to depend on the outcome of the game Monday? I could see how a loss would motivate guys to come back and a win would kind of push them to move on.

Robinson is gone. Allen has been telling people he is coming back. I think that when grades come out and he is universally a late 1st round pick he will end up going, but there is reason people think he stays.

I think Robinson and Henry are gone regardless (and they should be). I have no idea about Allen and Howard. I think the rest of the guys are probably coming back.

Is R.Ragland leaving. That guy needs to leave right now. I don't want LSU to face him anymore.

LSU:

Tre White - 80%. Likely gone, 1st round projections. Sources say he is pondering a comeback which would really help us.

Jerald Hawkins - 50%. Struggled some last year, but his frame alone will have him in the top 4 rounds. I think we might be able to sway him.

Kendall Beckwith - 50%. Will be a top 2 round guy, but the potential of playing in Arranda's scheme could give him a boost into the 1st round. Also, he will be the guy LSU is recruiting hardest the next few weeks. I think he stays, especially if you know anything about Kendall then you know he doesn't seem like he is itching for the NFL. He likes his farm and horses.

Christian Lacouture - 10% He applied for a look by scouts, but he would be making a huge mistake by leaving.

Ethan Pocic - 15% I think he will make a great pro, but next year he will slide out to tackle and could earn himself alot more money in the process.

Lewis Neal - 15% No reason for him to leave, could really benefit staying another year.

Dillon Gordon - I know he doesn't really fit into the NFL discussion, but its similar. Applied for a medical redshirt, we will see if he is granted it soon.... Although he did just get stabbed, so who knows what that means.

John Diarse - Transferring
