Gus never had a roster anywhere close to as piss poor as the one Freeze inherited.
Freeze may lose some head scratchers but talent won’t be a problem anymore.

Agreed. It does raise the pressure pretty quickly tho since the talent level will seemingly increase.
Don't know if they have the horses for a playoff berth next year but by year three, it should be an expectation. He's gonna be asking alot out if his freshman next year to perform and that's such a tall task.
I don't see a Texas A&M type implosion but will the decision makers at AU be able to swallow those headscratching losses that come with Freeze. Patience will be needed but he's a proven winner wherever he goes.

I’ve lived this life and I pity your future. You will climb to just the top of the mountain top just to slip and slide down. You will have all the stars but often times there is a reason others aren’t pursuing that isn’t being discussed by the recruiters. Give you a perfect example, you have a commit that is a tweener for two position and has some really questionable sketchy “handlers”. Even though he was rated a 4* he wasn’t top 10 on our board and we had 3* ranked higher. Yet you took the kid and acted like he was the 2nd coming. Take him, pay him and likely never produce on the field. It happened time and time again at Ole Miss.

It's crazy to think that Freeze has already put together a top 10 recruiting class in less than a year on the job and he's not done. I'm hearing there is a very good chance current Alabama commit Ryan Williams, the top player in the state and top 5 recruit nationally, will be joining this year's class. It's also worth noting that just a few days ago RW's teammate Antonio Coleman, the top recruit in Alabama next year, flipped from Alabama to Auburn.
I'm also hearing he's still hitting the transfer portal hard and is currently talking to a couple of big-time recruits. I think it's safe to say if you play Auburn next season, you want to play them early before they really get things rolling.

It's almost like there are ways to look this stuff up and prove them to be untrue.

Can't disagree with this. Lane is maneuvering the transfer portal like a pro and has brought in some difference makers this year.
Freeze recruiting is top tier. He's gonna get the players on campus, just gonna be a matter of execution of his schemes on a weekly basis.
