In 3 years, Herschel Walker led the SEC in rushing 3 times.

In 4 years, Bo Jackson led the SEC in rushing 2 times.

In 2 years, Leonard Fournette has led the SEC in rushing zero times.

It is not a foregone conclusion that he leads the SEC in rushing this year either. He would likely finish 2nd to a healthy Chubb. If Chubb had not been injured last season, there's a real possibility we'd be talking about whether or not he was better than Herschel.

FACT: in 3 years Darren McFadden NEVER rushed for as many yards in a single season as LF7 did in simply 2 Seasons.

Neither has Chubb.

Neither did Herschel.

Neither did Gurley.

Neither did Bo.

Even with LSU losing its opener, LF7 had already passed Chubb up when by the time Chubb got injured.

But it did because Chub wasn't capable of finishing the season.

Chubb's 120 yard head start?

Yeah no, 120 yards doesn't last very long when you aren't as good as LF7

Through sept:

LF: 73 carries and 631 yards
NC: 71 carries and 599 yards

That 32 yard lead was gonna dissipate.

LF simply got lucky he didn't have to play on the abortion field at UT.

Yeah. And 43% of his yards came in non-SEC games (4 games)

Nobody is really blown away with his stats to be honest

57% of Garrett's tackles for loss came in conference.

80% of Garrett's forced fumbles came in conference.

But hey, continue your rantard narrative of delusion.

thats because we put his numbers on the sides of his leaves instead of his shoulder.

Otherwise at least this guy woudl have been blown away by his numbers

You shouldn't be impressed by LF7, as an A&M fan. That implies he has to prove something to you.

He hasn't even been the best RB in the SEC the last 2 years. He has never led the conference in yards. Nothing he does this year can put him above Herschel.

Is this serious?

He might not have led the SEC in rushing totals, but he did lead the nation in rushing based on the official way they measure it (YPG).

LF hasn't even been the best RB in the SEC yet. Let alone the best of all time. LSU fans have set him up to go no where but down.

Dont forget that roughly 38% of Garrett's sacks have come against SEC opponents (8.5 in 15 games).

To be honest, I don't think presenting these stats in percentages such as this is the best way to gauge these numbers since 75% of each SEC team's regular season schedule consists of conference games.

So he averages about 1 or less tfl in conference play?

LF averages 150yds with a td vs yall and thats with him getting pulled for the 4th

But hey, continue your rantard narrative of delusion.

Hershel and that one dimensional offense would have shut down cold in today's college game, especially D's with pro-esque front 7's like Bama, LSU etc

Herschel Walker was great, but he was ahead of his time athletically. He had the advantage of being a elite modern athlete 35 years ago. Fournette is playing on a much more even playing field. Thus the stats aren't super relevant. Defensive players are much bigger and faster today.
