Ranked as a top-40 player nationally and fourth overall catcher Out of high school.
Attended Walton High School in Marietta, Georgia and ends up at Tennessee.
Came to college as the second-highest ranked prospect from Georgia, including the top ranked catcher
Through 5 games now:
.538 average
2 homes runs
1 PH grand slam
12 RBI’s
7 runs scored
Kid is a stud and come through today with a PH grand slam in the bottom of the 8th inning. Nice to be able to have this much talent on the bench that can come in and come through in the clutch!

So whats your point? LSU still has the #1 ranked high school recruiting class as well as the #1 ranked transfer portal class. LSU has players that played on our national championship team that cant even crack the starting lineup bc we are so deep at every position. We will see how well clark does against some of our true freshman pitchers

And yet you lose to Omaha! Little JJ is gonna waste all that talent like he did with Kling. Wasn’t Kling the highest rated baseball player ever to come to LSU if I remember correctly?

We seen how those true freshman pitchers pitched against Omaha. In case you haven’t heard we have freshman hitting bombs and batting for average in our lineup.
End of the day it’s all about development and I trust Vitello over Johnson when it comes to development of players. Vitello didn’t need an already developed Paul Skenes, Crews or Morgan to win a title. Johnson took over a team with a tone of talent already and top player in the country and added the top pitcher in the country. Now we seen exactly what Johnson is now those players are gone. He hasn’t developed anyone. In fact, he took one of the most talented players in the country, Kling and made him worse.
