North and South FL then FAMU next three games. Back to winning ways. Problem is with all the weak teams scheduled, it will do little to prepare for SEC play.
AU is not very good, I always think a team gets better by playing better teams. Not by running over a bunch of scrubs.

Depends on the team. Auburn is the kind of team that needs confidence going into SEC play. Winning builds confidence. This isn't a tournament team, so there is no need for them to get battle hardened early in the season.

Agreed. We've lost so many games the past few years, these guys need to remember what it is like to win. I agree with how Barbee has run our schedule so far.

Just got back home and boy was that ugly. You could tell Ward hadn't played in 2 years and Sullivan in a year. The only encouraging thing I saw was Chubb got 12 and 6 against a pretty good post player.

IMO, beating North FL, Bethune-Cookman, FAMU, GA Souhtern, etc. does not build confidence. The guys are not stupid, they know when they go on the court they are much better than them. Playing real competition, seeing weaknesses and what needs to be done to improve is more valuable.
They play FSU the game before the SEC starts. That is the only team left with a pulse they play. They lose that one and tonight, what confidence do they have. They have run through a bunch of scrubs and lost against the only two with a clue.

If we had played them before, I could kinda understand. Not a good way to establish a series with an out of conference opponent.....
