The call wasn't an illegal block in the back.
It was an illegal block below the waist.

Sorry if you are finding out now what we already knew.
Seems like you need to know a little bit more about what you are talking about.

His shoulder hits the player first on the thigh...check your article, it says that.

You are either blind or just plain ignorant. In pictures, which you provided, no part of the FSU players body is below the waist of the Clemson player............in any picture.

below the waist.. simple call Posted on 8/22/17 at 10:39 am to SlowEasyConfident
He has already disengaged and is falling down. He didn't climb up the body on the block. LMAO
Your pictures clearly show that first shot was right beneath the shoulder pad.

How can you be disengaged when he has his hands on the back of his legs

Just because you start higher doesn't mean you can leave your feet and finish the block lower

This is the first picture YOU posted:
You honestly think his shoulder hits his thigh first?

Ya, that player should have just floated above his waistline for the entire play.

no, first contact is here, with the shoulder:
>
Even the article says it was "in his thigh", which is considered below the waist...but hey, let's just take these shots....is the shoulder hitting from behind? Because position up or down just determines block below the waist and block above the waist, both illegal if not hit from the front between 10:00 and 2:00....care to argue?? Either way, an illegal play, even if the call is said wrong.

Look at the sequence. Clemson guy did not start at shoulder pad, work down the body, then back up.
The Clemson player was running. He didn't get his arse knocked off his feet. FSU player hit him......in the very first picture..........right beneath the shoulder pad. You can just see the Clemson players number on his sleeve. You see absolutely no part of his arm.
This is ridiculous that you Clemson morons........bring pictures to prove that you are dead wrong....then want to argue that it was a good "blocking below the waist" call.

Um, yeah, you can.
As long as he doesn't grab a hold of the defensive player the point of contact that matters is the initial contact.
You really don't know jack shite about football, do you?

He has his hands on the back of his legs, he finished the block below the waist. Sorry but you're consistently a dumbass, and proven wrong yet again

Here's the initial hit above the waist. The helmet is just below the Clemson players number. You're way off
