Kind of in poor taste, IMO. He's on the verge of being totally irrelevant, and a huge waste of his God-given potential - he clearly has some behavior and authority problems which will not bode well for him to live a meaningful or productive life - so not exactly something to celebrate.
Also, let's not act like LSU fans were "right" about him - we wanted him just as badly as Aggy did, drug rumors notwithstanding.

I referred to him as "Spliffy" Noil when he was in HS. It was just a factual observation. Nobody cared until he signed with the Aggies and then I was accused of hating on the kid by outraged Aggies. The dude has been a stoner since he was 13.
