No, you see, its just that I disagree with your whole premise that Ole Miss is cool, thats all.
But if a "flash-rave" posted on Youtube, about 5 years after they were cool, disproves that for you, then woo-hoo...

It's not something done because of lack of places to get fricked up. It's a fun idea for the student body to do something cheesy for a little bit. The idea is just some random fun.

I'm not negating the fact of if it was "cool" or not, hell I didn't even go. All i'm saying is it sounded like from what I heard, a pretty entertaining study break.

Cool, You must be very excited. I could have done what you did, and graduate early. But I'm walking in December. I won't be done until August when i take my comprehensive. I wanted to be completely done before I walked.

So, to the OP, yeah. I'm sure plenty other SEC schools can top that.
Although I doubt many would try because its kinda gay, and they have better ways of blowing off steam in their towns.
State might try, though.

Yeah Barry I wasn't exactly thrilled I wasn't going to be done before I walked but the only reason is because the two classes i need were not offered this spring so that screws me. Advisers up here suck by the way. I swear they try to mess you up so that you have to stay here longer and in turn the school makes more money. Thats just my theory.
Ole Miss only walks once a year, and thats in May. I've never understood why they dont hold a December commencement.

Good for you man!! Hope you find a good job if that's what you want to do.
I have heard this as well. A guy I know personally was about to graduate. I think it was the week before graduation, and one of his advisors called him, and said he still needed one more class. Needless to say, he was pretty pissed off.
Now, this sucks the high, hard one. I don't understand this either. Almost every school I know has 2 ceremonies.

College of Charleston's was awesome. My gf goes there, and she said that almost the whole student body was there. Its all over youtube.
