None of this can be right tho, we have threads about how Max Johnson sucks and that’s why they want him to start for A&M, are you sure these are right, sidewalk giving lectures on teams he doesn’t see play too

Those expectations would have been very plausible had LSU's defense performed at the beginning of the season like they did at the end of the season. Slightly better defense wins games against Auburn, Arkansas, Alabama, and UCLA. (for those doing math at home, that's 10 wins, right in line with those delusional preseason expectations).

This LSU team was bad, but there were a lot of reasons to be optimistic prior to the season. The first game revealed what we didn't want to see: 2020 was the default, not the aberration. Even sucking as hard as LSU did, they still beat A&M
