Did you forget that Clemson couldn't even score a td last time they played Bama?

it is crazy how much time a sidealk fan like you spends on the internet rehashing wins in the past.

last year bama won the title gainst uga but you are talking about the game before that. lol

only reason bama even made playoffs last year is Ohio State had a weird blowout loss to Iowa State. If that just been a close loss, OSU gets in.

They had receivers wandering around without a Clemson player in shouting distance. It was probably a blessing that Clemson got to play a team with a legit passing game before the playoffs but I don’t think it should be completely dismissed as a non problem.

ok, i think you are making a big deal out of one game.

Clemson was able to shut down other teams with good QBs, Cuse and NCSU.

i'm curious, what evidence do you have that Bama's defense is good against the pass? What is the best pass offense Bama has faced so far. LSU?

Yeah Clemson’s offense looked so good they might be able to outscore anyone if need be anyways. I think Lawrence would get drafted first overall if he were eligible after this season.

i watched most of the 1st half of the clemson/sc game. i was thinking the same thing one of the other posters said. tua anf bamas wr's would eat them alive. however, i also agree with the clemson poster. everybody's defense has had one of "THOSE" games. did anybody expect michigans defense to actually be so freaking slow! i didnt. now that was an embarrassing defensive performance. honestly, clemsons defense played just like they had no worries about winning the game.

did u notice several of SC's passes were deflected prior to be catched and they made some low probability cathes as well.

also was there any pressure on SC in the game last night. lol nobody expected them to win.

you brought up the game two years ago as evidence that Clemson can move the ball on Bama, and when I bring up one more recently where they couldn't, you talk about it being the past,

then you call me a sidewalk fan and I actually had classes with and know Dabo

you are off your game tonight

Yes..that is very true. What is also true is the QB that was responsible for that loss is now off the team looking for a school because it took 4 games for a true freshman to beat him out and off the team

um b/c you were talking about the defensive busts that allowed Bama's TE to make big plays.

That wasn't last year's game.

is there ever a time when people don't pick Bama to win and win big regardless of opponent.

if you don't think any team has shot to beat bama, why even bother to follow the team.

Bryant alone wasn't responsible for that loss. The O-line didn't play well and the running backs didn't block well.

CLemson also wasn't as strong at WR last year and Higgens didn't play in that game.

Clemson is gonna get eatin alive by the QBs and WRs of Bama, Oklahoma and Ohio State if they face them. Your secondary has been bad all season.

And good luck with your freshman QB going up against Bama.

based on what game?

THe best two QBs clemson faced were NCSU and Syracuse's QB and they couldn't pass the ball.

it was our secondary who beat Texas AM, intercepted their 2 point conversion attempt late and forced a fumble at the goal line. Texas AM had 3 or 4 successful 2 point conversions against LSU which is presented as having an incredible defense by SEC homers.

Your secondary got torched to the tune of 430 passing yards at the hands of Mond. Let's not act like your secondary has been good all season. They crumble when they play good QBs and WRs.

ok, it is weird a Lville fan in on heere talking trash about Clemson.

texas am couldn't run at all on Clemson. They ran all over LSU and obviously Mond made several huge pass plays against them too.

that was Clemson's 2nd game of the season on the road. Clemson is only team to win at Texas AM this season but you trying to hard to turn that into a negative.

You saw a lot of games in 70's and 80's.....then you must have been part of at least 20K that came to those games.

Bama stacked the box because they knew KB was not going to be a passing threat. Have you ever looked at his 2017 Pass distribution and completion % chart?

LINK

He was virtually not a threat in 20+ yard passes. He lived off the WR screen and dink and dunk stuff.

if Clemson offense gets in the end zone on that drive where they fumbled it after ETN got blown up, then Clemson wo uld have had a shot to win.
