It's very simple, B1G sold their TV rights to highest bidder. Each B1G schools gets vastly more TV money and can buy better players.
Stankey sold out the SEC to ESPN for a suitcase of under the table personal money to him. SEC TV contract really sucks.
What is happening was inevitable and isn't going to be corrected any time soon. B1G players opt out just like SEC. Don't believe the myth saying otherwise.
