Petrino is a great offensive mind. As the article earlier states, he has been near the top in all of his seasons as a coach/coordinator. My only knock would be that he may not have quite the eye for defensive talent as he does for offense. I love Willy, but our D's progression under Petrino has been stagnant at best.

The stats also support that a balanced offense and powerhouse defense lead to almost as many points and put less strain on the defense over time. Just sayin.
