Unfortunately, Nutt has accomplished a lot more at Arrky that Pertrino has to date. Nutt has better win %, beat Bama, won major bowl games......the jury is still out on Petrino until he can over achieve Nutt for a few years

All false, except for the "beat Bama" part--but Saban wasn't at Alabama the entire time Nutt coached here. On the other hand, Petrino has beaten LSU 2/3 times

Nutt won 60.5%
Petrino has won 65.3%

Nutt did win the Cotton Bowl in 2000, but that's a far cry from "won major bowl games" (unless one = plural to you, and it wasn't even a BCS bowl)

Nutt's bowl win percentage was 28.6%, Petrino's is 50%

Oregon looked awesome against an over hyped and rated Stanford. Oklahoma and okie State still have to play. Arkansas is peaking at the right time. LSU should be a hard fought game. One of the best of the season and probably the last decade.

Hahaha...we have won 2 NC , 4 BCS games and were the Game of the Century two wks ago...this may be big for Arky but we have done much much more than this little romper room matchup.

I'm not ganna hype this game. Everyone assumes that their team will make it to the SECCG if they win. To call it a

little romper room matchup.
is a solid attempt at trolling thou.

Lee imploded and won't see meaningful time agasint Arky, UGA, or in the BCSNCG, which makes LSU more predictable, and more beatable

....Yea, and you know better than our coaches. Hell, even Saban doesn't know enough to beat our coach.

That would be a big fat KABOOM on Arky as the Bama poster clearly thinks we beat you as per this statement...

He clearly thinks we make it to the SECCG AND NCG

Petrino is clearly a better coach than Nutt. I mean, isn't Nutt canned at this very moment? But anyone saying that Miles isn't as good a coach or possibly better than Saban hasn't been paying attention. No one said that Miles is a better "program builder" than Saban but he did pretty good at OSU (it appears). But in all honesty, how many coaches can build programs like Saban? Then again, how many coaches can maintain a program like Miles?

Miles is an excellent coach, specially for the college game.

Petrino is also an elite coach, those trying to say he is worse than Hootie are just flaming.

Petrino is also an elite coach,

What has he done to be elite...poor bowl record, no championships of any kind.....ibeating Miles twice makes you elite?

Taking two different teams to BCS bowls happens to average coaches all the time

Petrino would win 5 straight MNC's if he coached LSU

but he doesnt, so he will just have to settle for being an elite coach at a less than elite program.

In your opinion, how good of a coach is Petrino? Just curious.

I actually think he is pretty good, and a good to great fit for Arky. he hasnt really won anything yet though, so the hero worship is a little bit unwarranted at this point. that said, going from HDN to BP, i can see why the hog fans are a little over the top in admiration.
