well that is NICE since we have only been playing in BR since 1992. Arkansas owned the 1920s though going 7 out of 10 games. That has to be the highlight of the rivalry.

Who cares how quickly you strike when we score roughly the same number of points per game?

Nope

The highlight would be that LSU won every game these 2 teams played from 1930 to 1992 with the exception of 1947, when we tied in Dallas.

I think the highlight for them was letting us snap the longest win streak in their history in the 1965 Cotton Bowl.

LSU averages 65 plays per game, Arky 70 per game but ppg vs. SEC opponents is equal. Interesting. Conclusion, Arky offense is not potent and their defense sucks too; THEY'RE F*&Ked

Arkansas takes an early lead and is slightly ahead at halftime, but LSU recovers in the second half and wins. I think it will be close as well. Playing WKU and Ole Miss (No offense, Rebs/Black Bears) in the weeks previous will be a curse. The tema will be complacent.

I strongly disagree, this team needed a breather game after the most physical game of the season against Bama. This game will also be good for JL to get back in his groove and get back in the flow of the offense again.

The Ole Miss game will be tight at first, Ole Miss almost always plays us tough no matter what the records are. Does anybody remeber Orgeron almost beating us in TS in 06 the year we went to Sugar Bowl and they went 0 For in SEC. It took a 4th down touchdown on last play of game to tie them and then we had to win in OT after we missed extra point. They always play us tough and Nutt will like nothing better then to ruin our dream season.

If we can survive both those game this team will be jacked out of their mind to play Arky to win the west outright and finish undefeated regular season for first time since 1958.

Arky has been a horrible road team this year, getting destroyed by Bama and having to come back in the 4th quarter in the other 3 games against pathetic teams. I like our chances in this one and think the schedule plays into things perfectly.

I am not saying Arky has no chance, they are definately a dangerous team, but if you are an objective observer and look at the season trends going into this game, you would say it is a small chance.

LSU wins, but it's no blowout. Arkansas will make a game of it.

Lsu is worried about little ole' Arkansas. Funny really. I am not concerned at all. Kind of like USCe, we play them well.

Better get ready. In the meantime, keep assuring yourself with stats from 1909. Lol.

Arky offense is not potent
Anyone who thinks Arkansas doesn't have a good offense is a fool. Petrino has a good scheme, WR Jarius Wright is outstanding, and Joe Adams has the speed to make big plays.

Having said that -- LSU is a better team. Unless they just come out flat and lie down, LSU will control the line of scrimmage, stop the run, and put enough pressure on Tyler Wilson that he won't be able to get the passing game into a groove. Arkansas has made a habit of starting slow this year (A&M, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt) and they can't afford to do that against LSU. Arkansas does have enough weapons on offense, as well as a good scheme, that they can score points - so to say they don't have a good offense is grossly inaccurate. I just don't think it will be enough to win though.
