It's an LSU fan thread about arkansas and you're calling us obssessed? I gave out the olive branch we could just respect each other's strengths and weaknesses but no you choose to obssess over everything hog related. It's like you guys wake up every morning and ask how you're going to validate yourselves in the eyes of arkansas fans.

I would say that that you have a more explosive offense. Having said that, you are one dimensional. You can strike from anywhere on the field, but we can drive, control clock, and wear u out. Not against Bama, but your defense is hardly Bama. If we can get minimal pressure with our front four, we should win easily. I think our D is actually better suited than Bama for your offense. I could also be very wrong. You almost have to toss out stats and season totals when LSU plays Arky.

We actually have a very balance offense, but I get what you're saying. Our run game has gelled a lot in the last couple weeks.

Holy shite there are rational LSU fans.
We are kinda one dimensional but we are starting to look better as long as johnson stays healthy we should possess enough of a running threat that to keep LSU honest.

Wilson doesn't rattle like mallett did. He can take a hit and actually looks better when he is improving.

This is what i've been curious about. past evidence points to bama D being very well suited to stop us while you guys tend to have trouble with our offense. However we tend to suffer the most from teams that can consistently pressure with the front 4. I think consistent pressure from the LSU front is a loss, however if pressure is spotty and we pick up a blitz here or there then we will be able to hit our big plays.

Ok...we are one dimensional as far as a passing team, right? South Carolina has the 2nd best pass defense in the country. We won...explain that one, moron.

Last year LSU had a good defense. We were dominant against lesser offenses but got exposed (to an extent) against potent offenses.
This year has been different... with the exception of the 3rd quarter against WVU (where we played that stupid soft zone and yielded 220 yards) this defense has been dominant against every offense that was thrown our way.
I'm excited to see the matchup with Arkansas. SEC's best receivers vs. the SEC's best secondary.
Should be a great one.
