This is Butch's 1st hire in 2+ years that he has been the coach. Kind of puts a wrench in your "theory", no?

Not the Nick would lie or anything but I never once saw a Dooley coached team 'play hard' - they always gave up the minute there was any adversity. And of course, Nick wanted Dooley to stay (I would if I were him).

Thank God basketball season is almost over.

Then you can go back to being irrelevant for another year.

Can't remember the last time anyone started any kind of thread about Kentucky.

Tons of Tennessee response threads.

No I'm saying you used a bad example of that. Nick had incentive to keep Dooley where he was as a punching bag.

Tinneysee = revolving door for coaches

Thank you, Coach, for your most valuable opinion! We would never make a move without weighing the considerable football knowledge of our friends and neighbors to the north!

Why in the world would Jones not hire Mike Sanford if he wanted to take the job (which reportedly he did). Guy is going to be a star in the coaching world very soon. Badly wanted him to come to Vandy and after he turned it down was shocked we ended up with a guy with as good of a resume as Ludwig.

He would have killed it with UT's personnel, very happy this is the direction Jones went.

^Sanford would've had new terminology and a new system. The point of the DeBord hire is that he already knows our system and our terminology. We're not trying to change anything and DeBord serves that purpose.
