Here's a live look at the University of Texas Football facility.
Projected to go 4-8 in a laughably bad Big 12 conference, and currently being out recruited by Houston.

Wait, I'm sorry. It appears their mascot actually died along with their football program. Here's Bevo now.
This Texas downturn is surprising since they got the coach that they always wanted.....sorta
But don't worry, in the offseason when Charlie ejects from the dumpster fire in Austin, and leaves for Miami, they'll certainly try to get Nick Saban again. I'm sure he'll respond the same way he did last time.
The incoming meltdown in Austin over the next few years is going to have everybody in the country like.
Let's all soak it in and enjoy.

People talk about how the mighty have fallen. But before any of this, their argument as an historically elite program was tenuous
One championship in 50 years. A lot of wins, but often second fiddle to OU. A consistently good team. They didnt get the championships and weren't in the same stratosphere as USC, OU, Notre Dame, Bama, Ohio State, etc.
Places like Penn State, Florida, Miami, and Nebraska have bigger accomplishments as well in the modern era

Speaking of the Big XII... this is how messed up it is:
- actually 10 teams
- we're 8 games into the season
- they play a 9 game conf schedule
- brag about "settling it on the field" because they don't play champ game
All that, and they have 3 undefeated teams. That's messed up.

Well, to be fair, those teams will start playing each other starting this weekend. So, you can't say or know how that will shake out this season.
