If FSU clearly was better than Bama then Michigan should be heads and shoulders better than Bama. They should take care of business and make sure it doesn’t matter.
To all of the fans on this train, replace Bama with your favorite team and see if you still agree FSU should be in.

I get it. I understand the optics are bad because I’m an LSU fan arguing about Bama getting in
But I just want to say that for me this had nothing to do with wanting Bama to get in or not wanting Bama to get in. I just genuinely think the committee made an unjustifiable choice and also contradicted themselves

I know a lot of SEC fans would like nothing better than to see Alabama lose and lose badly but it is sour grapes at best...Alabama is most likely going to smoke the field and win the Natty. Michigan MAY be able to ride the "Us Versus" the World" emotion and get over the hump but it is going to take a monumental effort. As a UGA fan I hate our losing and not being in the CFP but at the end of the day I think the committe got it about as right as they could. They have never taken the 4 best teams and many years the games have been blow outs. That is not likely this year as every team has some flaws.

Many fear the precedent that your team can go 13-0, but if your star gets injured, you're screwed. While LSU lost 3, one can imagine a scenario where they would be in contention but an injury to him is what rules them out. Not good.
