SEC refs are beyond consistent this year, and years past.

What made it impossible for them to win was when Bama took the field.

Bama is going to catch hell from LSU if that's true.

That play when TWO Bama dlinemen slapped Guarantanos helmet off right in front of the refs was the moment I realized the inevitable. I just laughed hilariously from then on. Lol.

He didn't have his chin strap on, the helmet just fell off. Can't penalize Alabama for opposing players not properly utilizing their equipment.

That would be wrong.

And the Vols were the least penalized team. Until last night, where they got almost 3 games worth of penalties.

Yep, Steve Shaw phoned in to Guarantano before the play, “Fumble the ball into the end zone so Bama can scoop it and score a 100 yard defensive TD. Don’t screw it up.”

Try watching the replay. You’ll find a new perspective. Apparently some of you idiots don’t know what offsides is

I'll be honest. After we were given three separate offensive penalties on the same play, I thought we should forfeit in protest. I also thought that we'd just give up. We didn't and to anyone with half a brain, and/or no affiliation with Bama, we still managed to get them on the ropes.

What should scare Bama fans is that it wasn't enough for the refs to gift them points and deny us points. It also took our backup reaching uncharted depths of selfishness and stupidity by deciding to not only disregard completely the play call but also not inform his own OL that he was attempting a sneak (no guard pulls on a sneak -ever) for them to finally put poor Ole Tennessee away.

Even so, Bama revealed all game that while they had far more talent than we did, they are also softer than baby shite. We outcoached them (and that's saying a ton given I was 100 percent out post-GA St) and we out 'physicaled' them.

A team with even a half way decent QB that makes Bama actually work for something will beat them. They're soft but there are a lot of soft teams right now that have been relying on skills talent. If a team with skills players AND physicality shows up they can and will beat Bama easily.

You didn't find it ODD, that the vast majority of gump penalties occur after/when the game is already in hand OR on non-critical situations ? It's almost as if the refs attempt to 'even up' penalty yards just before the end of bama games !

If they keep playing the way they did last night, they'll find out in 3 weeks.
