Being a coach is more than x's and o's. So you think Miles is average at recruiting? Average at running a program? If you think doing more with less talent is the only judge of a good coach, then you must be sad Houston Nutt left...

I like Les. He might be a little too daring for my tastes, but so far it's working pretty well for him at LSU. He's a better coach than many give him credit for.

Even with another losing year, Les will still have time...He's maintained, if not elevated LSU marketing..He's given LSU more buzz then Saban did...ESPN actually likes Miles, which is great for recruiting..He's not an X's and O's coach, but he'll go out and hire people who are if these new coaches can't make it work...and in the meantime he'll continue his top 5 recruiting...People like integrity, that's what miles sales..

He's a great head coach, has great character, is a family man, is a great recruiter, and is a great administrator like a head coach needs to be. He's perfect for LSU and LSU is perfect for him.
I wish he was my neighbor. :)
