Right. So LSU decided to extend Les' contract based on the sportsbybrook report, not through conversations with Les and his agent regarding the validity of the offer?
Whatever helps the Hog nation sleep at night I guess.

Exactly. The LSU administration reads message boards and knows that they are serious business. They saw that Arkansas offered and immediately began working on a new contract that they finished within 24 hours, because they know Miles reads message boards too and understands how serious of a business they are. Les, knowing that he had $5.25M ready to go was met by the administration to sign the new contract before he could meet with Arkansas.
Don't know why this is so hard to understand.

Miles will be at LSU as long as they will have him. He is very underrated. He is overshadowed by Saban but he is a damn good coach. He has a program that can be top 10 or 15 every year there. Before coming to LSU after Saban he rebuilt the Oklahoma State after a decade of really bad football.
