LSU has certainly NOT underachieved.

You're talking about a program that's won 2 national titles and 3 SEC titles in the last decade.

LSU could have easily won more, but also could have easily won less.

UGA is the only program in the SEC that you could label a big underachiever. With all the NFL talent that's gone through that program their on the field results do not stack up with how many awesome players they've had.

We're talking about LSU under Les Miles here. The only SEC program that's been better than them is Alabama. FACT. There are areas in which both programs can improve. FACT. LSU has displayed a habit of playing down the the competition. FACT. LSU isn't that far away from being the premier SEC West/SEC team, but Les Miles hasn't gotten them there after 8 seasons. There's too much inconsistency.

I'm talking about Les Miles's LSU with the positigers. He's only won one national championship under extraordinary circumstances (2-losses) and 2 SEC Championships. Take away 2011 Alabama's "mulligan", and Saban is still more accomplished than Miles at LSU.

The same can be said for any program. All it takes are injuries, disciplinary issues, or NCAA sanctions.

That's true. LSU isn't a big underachiever, but is it wrong to expect more out of them? I see unrealized potential there. I can understand keeping Miles since no one on the market is more proven than him, and he's kept the program competitive. I wouldn't advocate his removal anyways. I'm just calling out some details that other fans deny.

Trying too hard. This thread isn't about Bama. Stop being a typical gump and just leave.

All Miles had to do was maintain and transition the program into his regime
it's funny how some people make this sound so easy. because miles' record has been equaled so many times in sec history
