, but the fact that it will take 12 years for some of the teams in the east to rotate back onto our schedule is a disgrace to the league

The current setup since 92' is the only time rotation has come into play in the SEC. Some teams like LSU dipped and dogged teams like UGA for 20+ years, yet now its an issue. since 92' there has been more equal distribution of schedules in all of SEC history

or Where Les said he didnt want to play Florida.

Are you really this dumb?

LSU has repeatedly stated they want permanent rivals dropped. In other words, they don't want to play UF every year.

with all the bragging about how great Lsu is to play those schedules, and considering Lsu has lost more than twice as many games the last 5 yrs, yes..

babble on flamer. I know you hate LSU. It's cool.

There is nothing alabama can do about 6-1-1, we value our rivalry with UT. We will not vote against our values and traditions to make another fanbase happy.

I know saban has argued for 9 games. I assume that means we voted for it although i do not know for sure.

What else would you like us to do?

That's N O T H I N G........ What about Saban being allowed to lobby for Alabama to play in the 2012 BCSNCG in the SECCG broadcast booth ??? Was Gundy afforded that chance ??????? Noooooooo. That played a part in Bama given a do-over mulligan, despite already LOSING AT HOME to the #1 team.... While Michigan was """""" N O T """""" afforded the same do-over chance vs Ohio State in the 2007 BCSCG.

Only reason people complain about "whining" is because they love the easy schedule and having an easier shot at a championship

That is complete bullshite. We complain about the whining because we know just a few short years ago LSU had the easy east teams on their schedule and there wasn't a peep about it because Bama had just finished series with UF/USC

Then after 1-9; then this past year when LSU thought UF was an easy win after they had been predicted to finish no better than 3rd in the east.

Not once has the east record mattered for LSU if they Beat Bama then LSU has always gone to the SECcG over Bama.

Hyperbole sounds great on a messageboard but doesn't really further your point.

This does not address my point. The fact that some teams in the same league will not play each other in over a decade is pretty pathetic.

There have been proposed ways to keep the rivalries and even out the schedule but for some reason they won't do it. Thats what makes it look biased. Plus, its a "bridge" schedule so they could've changed the other cross division opponents this year but they chose not to

What hyperbole?

LSU didn't play UGA from 53-78.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind it. It would allow for better games instead of shitty OOC opponents.

OR we could just ditch the permanent East opponents because nobody else in the nation gives a flying frick about the Bama/UT,Auburn/UGA "rivalry".

pathetic despite it actually accomplishing something that didn't happen in the prior 90+ years. yall want rotation, then bitch about it when the rotation doesn't suit you and favors bama.

I won't argue over a single year or conspiracy theories about the SEC office. This is how the schedule worked out this year. It is following a pattern, it seems to me we traded UGA for Missouri (who was considered to be the better of the two teams entering the conference) and each new entry got a high profile cross division game.

Who won't do it. As far as I know the 9 game thing is the only thing that has been brought to a vote.

Then what problem do y'all have with making a schedule that is balanced year in and year out. It seems like this would be something that everyone would want yet some just want to turn a blind eye to it and complain about "whining"

As I said before Alabama will vote for what they think is right for our values and tradition. That means we think 9 games is better than giving up our rivalry.
