Link? Yall still have vandy to go to when times get tough....Also this all important old rotation says UGA should be nowhere near yalls schedule.

Alabama will not play Georgia in the regular season in either 2014 or 2015, unless the bottom falls out for Georgia this year. It's ridiculous to think otherwise.

No link, but I'll bump this thread to prove to you I was right when the schedule comes out. The rotation they are using is based off the old rotation. It's not that hard to figure out.

In our NC season saban got beat by a 8-5 UF team at home by a Zook coached team with a true freshman qb.
Do you want to revisit the embarrassing losses from Miles NC year as well?

By the other scores I think you can understand why we say UF owned Saban at LSU.
The worst score in there is the 2001 game. Unless you expected Saban to turn around a team that won just 7 games the previous 2 years combined and hang with Spurrier's dominating of the 90s (you know, winning 10+ games 9/11 years).

Such a LOOOOOONNGGGG time ago.

There was a bridge schedule in 2011? Or are you just intentionally ignoring the point?

your annual cakewalk with Tennessee,

Bama is 10-10-1 against UT since they became our cross division opponent. That game has hurt us just as often as it has helped.

Then which is it? Old rotation says UGA this year and gone next year. You say UGA next year (I assume because they weren't on it the past two years) then that throws it off. Why not play them this year? Either the old rotation is important or its not. The officials say its not so why do we get arbitrarily screwed 2 years in a row while Bama gets it easy two years in a row?

Did you actually read the OP? Or just jump into the thread because it said schedule in the title?

"year after year" has nothing to do with bridge schedules.

(2011 played UF but they were down)2010-2009-2008 and in the future rotation of 2014-15 etc.

The facts are not EVERY YEAR does LSU get the schedule shaft like you swamp kittens would want everyone to believe.

Pretty sure UT, SC, and Georgia have been pretty good in that time frame as well

Are you seriously trying to compare any of those teams to Florida over the divisional play era? Really? Please tell me the Alabama school system has not failed THAT badly.

Either tradition is most important, or fairness is. You sacrifice fairness (in your favor) for tradition to keep your annual cakewalk with Tennessee, but when another proposal does the same (but to your disadvantage in the fairness department), you suddenly think it's ridiculous.

This is the issue. Very well stated. I will add that we certainly don't give a shite about Alabama-Tennessee or Auburn-Georgia. We want fair scheduling.

No I get what you have said on why they went to UK this year as per trying to keep old rotation. However going by that logic yall shouldnt get UGA for another 5 years. Its one or the other. Rotation matters or it doesnt.

Why don't we just use the modern divisional era, like you guys like to do. 2000 and forward.

Did you know that UGA has won just as many games as UF in that time frame? 126 to be precise.

Well the SEC did what it intended to do. The two leaders of the SEC the past 15 years-UF and LSU were paired. Teams that are peak and valley-UT and Bama-paired. Good not great (except for the times they get once in a lifetime players) got paired-AU and UGA.

We played 8 games against the east in those three years, and we had these four "easy" ones (UT twice).

so 4 out of the 8 or half of the games were against those "easy" teams, and florida wasn't great for two years, so 6 out of 8 teams without a pulse 55-46 record

51-51 record for bama's east teams over the same period. I can totally see the travesty of the last three years now
