I think it's safe to say most of us are fiending for football worse than a heroin addict fiends for dope on day 3 of withdrawals.

Bowl games are the biggest accomplishment of your football team. Plus you guys went 3-5 in SEC play, and with your recruiting on the downslide it's only getting worse.

Chavis is a damn good coach. But he was not a great recruiter and doesnt really like to recruit. (Not a big knock My step dad was a damn good coordinator is his day but was the same way. He was not sleazy enough. Not everyone has to be a recruiter you just need some good ones) But Satan has his number and the last two total defensive collapses in the last 2 minutes of each half versus Bama lost us the game last 2 out of 3 years and ended our season. Gus apparently has his number too as he could have scored 100 last year. We were warned this and 3rd and Chavis by the UT people.

That said, really the change is probably a benefit to both schools. Hell, your defense could not have been any worse so he will help you but you will not beat Bama. Sumerlain seats is getting warm I hear. Two mores Bama loses and Les may be Macked. (As in Charlie Mac) We have a former Bama coach, and two national recruiters of the year, and a coach we have wanted for years O.

For all the bitching, it really is a fricking win win.

People to say steel is a bad defense hire are morons just because West Virginia put up 70 points. Auburn and Mississippi State could've scored a hundred on LSU's great John Chavis defense last year, WestVirginia coach just proved a point to Clemson.Sec coaches have respect for each other and would not run up the score like that.

If he was neglecting recruiting in certain areas, how did you have a defense that was so head and shoulders above everyone else talent wise that it made him look good?

Arkansas- good job. Hopefully we can get up to play yal finally.

Who's fault is that? It's the lamest excuse you could ever give (i.e. "We only lose to them, because we don't take them seriously enough").

Everyone gets up for their game against Alabama, but I don't hear Bama fans using it to excuse their losses.

Everybody wants to look back at the Orange Bowl against West Virginia. Clemson had 2 pick 6's and and West virginia had 35 points off of turnovers.

One of those Andre Ellington, starting RB for Arizona in NFL now, fumbled on 1 yard line of WV, they recovered it and ran back for a TD. I believe Clemson was about to go up 3 or 4, and ended up being down 11 or so. WV kept bombing it down the field later in the game even when it would have been smarter to run the ball and eat up clock.

there is a reason why WV hasn't won many games since that game. I call it the CLemson curse.

Would you rather be Arkansas or LSU over the last 10 years?

Yeah that's what I thought.
