Fournette is just playing the game, he's not the one responsible for the hype. In fact, he's not the same guy who did the Heisman pose last year.
He's now the guy who gave his SEC Player of the Week award to his fullback.
My advice is to continue liking Fournette and watching to see what he does with the remainder of this season.
Georgia has had Hershel and now Chubb.
Auburn had Bo
Arkansas had DMac
Bama had Alexander
So. Car had George Rodgers and Latimore
MSU had Staley
Ole Miss had McAllister
Florida had Emmitt
Tenn had Lewis
Texas A&M had that one dude, ole what'shisname.
LSU had Cannon and now it's time has come again with Fournette.

Mcfadden was the best offensive player I had seen play college ball in person until Fournette came. The 2007 game still haunts me

He just looks a tad slower. But we'll see in the NFL draft before long.
He DOES very much remind me of McFadden.
None of us are accustomed to seeing a man with that size, power, agility, and sheer speed.

I've said it before:
He is the lovechild of Earl Campbell and Bo Jackson.

Fournette ran like a 10.7 100 in HS IIRC and is said to be around a 4.4 40 yard dash
not sure what DMac did in those areas, just providing some context.

Right. That was HS. Which is why I said we'll see in the NFL combine. I don't think he'll be slow by any means and I'm not comparing the 2. I think they will both be some of the greatest backs in SEC history.

I was just giving you some context since you were using the eye test.
And the 40 yard dash was not in HS, that was from Fall practice

Taking nothing away from DMac. Dude was a highlight reel.

We all know fastest isn't everything. They both have/had the vision and other intangibles to make the list of SEC's greatest.

LF is much more physical of a runner than DMac was. You guys are ok crack.

Posting here on behalf of LSU's passing game.
Thanks LF.

Mcfadden ran an official time of 4.33 at the combine.
Like my previous post said, LF reminds me of a stronger more powerful version of mcfadden. Lf is also about 20 pounds heavier.

I'll wait to see how he does against Bama before I give him praise. If he gashes
them, he undoubtedly will win the heisman. That will be the toughest d line he'll face and will be interesting how he and the coaches handle it. Surely after watching the Georgia game there will be a plan set into motion.

Kid is special, no doubt. Every once in a while a guy like him comes along and you just enjoy every second of his career. Alexander was that guy for me with Bama football. He just did things others couldn't do, and that's basically what Fournette is. He is in no way normal or average.

He is averaging 4.9 yards AFTER contact. For context, Kenyan Drake is averaging 5 yards per rushing attempt.

First game this year I made the Dmac comparison. He makes you think he could take it the distance every time he touches it. I hate LSU but I respect talent haha

No one would ever compare those two. Fournette is in another stratosphere and I love Drake.
