re: Legitimate question… if LSU loses Saturday where is the fanbase on Kelly?

He’s in the hot seat in most fans’ minds as it is, but those of us with half a brain realize he could lose zero games for the next 3 seasons and still have more job security than anyone on this board. His buyout is too much.
But for me, the red flag was after the Bama game last year. You had arm chair coaches on this board begging him to put a spy on Milroe all throughout the second half. He didn’t do it. I figured, I’m just a fan, there must be some reason they didn’t do it. Nope.
After the game he said something like “in hindsight we should’ve put a spy on Milroe.” That, to me, was the biggest red flag and made me not trust him as a coach. Because we had drunk idiots posting on a message board saying the exact same thing, before he even said it, because it was THAT obvious and he didn’t fricking do it.
So I’m back to, “if Miles and O can win a championship here, Kelly can” mentality, but really I’d just love for us to have a great coach for once. Hasn’t happened in 20 years.

If we loose to South Carolina, his site will be about as hot as it can be without the risk of actually being fired.
LSU has no margin of error. They have to make it through Bama, Ole Miss and Oklahoma only dropping one to have a chance.
They simply can't choke a game away to South Carolina, Texas A&M, UCLA, or Arkansas.
