So you can't come up with anything else. Gotcha.
All I asked was show were Bo had more yards from scrimmage, or more yards per touch from scrimmage than Ingram did in their Heisman years. That shouldn't be too difficult to find, considering Bo is the best all everything from forever. After all, the Heisman is for best overall player, not just RB or just WR or just QB. And if Bo was all that, his stats should overshadow Ingram by a mile. Right?

Ingram will not have 1000 yards rushing this year. The soph. will take away a ton of carries from Ingram. Last year is his only heisman year.

If the Heisman was all about stats, Toby would have won it this year.
Hell, Case Keenam mighta even won it before Mark Ingram.

Ingram sure as Hell wasn't even the best running back in college football this year alone. Toby G. should have won the Heisman, hands down
Toby was a great runner but are you suggesting that his runs against Pac-10 defenses are better than Ingram's against SEC defenses ?

Ingram had more overall yards than Toby. Try again.

Considering he didn't have anyone to come in a wear down a defense like Ingram had in Richardson, yes. And you gotta look at this too, they loaded the box against Toby every play. And he still dominated. That guy was in beast-mode all year.

Well there's Bear Bryant, Frank Thomas, Wallace Wade, Bart Starr, Joe Namath, Kenny Stabler, Shaun Alexander, Lee Roy Jordan, John Hannah, Johnny Mack Brown, Gene Stallings, Cornelius Bennett, Derrick Thomas, George Teague, Johnny Musso, Don Hudson, etc.
Of the ones I have listed, I think Thomas, Bryant, Wade, Namath, Stabler, Starr, and Hudson are the most influential. Three of those players were Super Bowl MVPs and the other invented the position we know of today as wide receiver.

So Ingram got more yds than Bo, by resting more and playing less. Gotcha

Yeah, this didn't happen against Bama.

No, not as much as Stanford.

They've NEVER done this against Bama

Richardson will split time with Ingram. Less yardage and a lesser year for Ingram because of his team mate's success.

Because you watched all them games, and everyone talking about Luck as a Heisman contender forced everyone to stack the box. That's why he's considered such a hellatious QB.

they did last year as well and he easily got to 1,000.....

Child please, most of Toby Gerhart's TDs were goaline plays, that really isn't impressive...

How is this thread still going? Everyone has their own opinions. Who cares who the better RB was last year? All I know is that we have 2 great backs and 1 that will be well known by the end of the season.

Well, Ingram does have more rushing yardage after his first two seasons than Bo Jackson did. Lets wait and see what the next two years could possibly bring Ingram. He's sitting at 2,386 career rushing yards. Bo finished with 4,303. However, he did have a injury plagued junior year in 1984. And his best season of 1,786 yards bests Ingram's 1,658. Bo's career YPC is higher at 6.4 to 5.9 as well.
While I'm not going to say Ingram will ever be better than Jackson, at least stats wise, who knows what Ingram could accomplish, or not, over the next two years (if he stays for four years).
