And then Ingram dominated the shite out of the best defense in the SEC the very next week. What's your point?

293 carries - 1655 yds, 21 TDs. 13 games.
Ingram put up similar stats (he had 4 less TDs) as freshman RB Ryan Williams (VT). He played in 1 more game too.

Yeah, because you're obviously immune to using washed up jokes that have been old for 3 months

There was a notre damn player in the 50's that won it when they only won 2 games

Did Gerhart or Williams have a backup who actually had more carries in some games and who ran for almost 800 yards and 8 TDs? Also, did Williams or Gerhart have over 1,000 yards after contact?

Nope, that just means Ingram had had an amazing back behind him that could wear out the defense

Probably due to Richardson wearing out the defense for Ingram

How do you come up with this?
That is his opinion just like everything else in this thread. I guess your opinion that Ingram is undeserving is valid, but his opinion that Ingram is better than Gerhart is absurd?
Ingram and Gerhardt played no common opponents and Gerhardt rushed for more yards while Ingram had a higher ypc. Anybody trying to compare the two is basing it strictly on opinion. Thankfully the opinions that mattered sided with Ingram and it just pisses you off doesn't it?

Yeah, that makes quite a bit of sense. Ingram, who had the starting job, got more yards because his backup wore out the defense? Wouldn't that be the other way around?

I guess "Ingram didn't deserve the Heisman" threads are more original? Thanks for setting me straight.

Usually when a starter goes to the sidelines for a rest, the back up isn't as good as the starter. When he is, its a huge plus considering hes not winded, and the defense is. Richardsons big plays resulted in the defense having to stay on the field longer, and when Ingram would come back in fresh, he could dominate even more than when he was in before
