what about Archie Griffin's 2nd Heisman. I know it's outside of 10 years BUT he had a grand total of 4....count it FOUR touchdowns ON THE SEASON TOTAL

Please tell me this is a joke

Ingram and Gerhart's numbers weren't that far apart and Ingram shared carries with a great back in the SEC.

And Gerhart was the entire offense for Stanford, defenses stacked the box all game against them.

Also, when did this become a team award?

Stanford did face shittier defenses in the pac10 compared to Alabama, but Stanford had a shittier oline to aid in Gerharts rushing stats.

Yes it is. I'm bored.

I do think VY was robbed but Bush had great stats and is not the least deserving.

Does it really matter? Ingram won the Heisman and he deserved it.

I personally think Woodson was highly deserving of the Heisman Trophy in 1997. He was an amazing player and led his team to a national championship from the defensive side of the football. Peyton Manning was a great player, don't get me wrong. Both of them have had brilliant careers in the NFL and will probably both end up in the NFL Hall of Fame.

So you're saying that Lucks stat line wasn't effected due to the fact that they had 7 people in the box at times to stop Gerhart?

He was the LOAD of that offense, and it all reflected on his ability.

Ingram by far. He posted above average RB stats, nothing fantastic. I think he'll be the best pro out of all the offensive candidates this last year though.

no I'm not so stupid as to believe that Luck wasn't helped by Gerhart but I think both were helped by each other. Luck more than Gerhart obviously. You can't discount Luck though.

whether or not ingram deserved it or not....toby definetly not better than him.

if any argument is made it would be TR=MI

Mark Ingram was the best back in America last year. The yards after contact in the SEC to me is the key stat.

FWIW, I was joking about the comparison in stats. However, I do think Bush got it based off the hype and didn't deserve the award half as much as VY.
