This is going to come as a surprise to you—you may want to sit down.

Sometimes in life sports teams, corporations, restaurants, political bodies, etc. make a change at the top of their organizations in order to realize previously unreached levels of success.
The fact that a stock has not ever been A+ rated on the S&P 500 does not preclude a corporation from working towards that goal.
The idea is that you strive to be better.

So, of course, you hire an LSU grad to steer the ship.

Why? I never wanted Jimbo in the first place, granted I didn't want Orgeron either but I didn't think Jimbo was all that impressive when he was at LSU and neither did Saban. Our AD is a huge moron and should have hired a search firm.

He’s been a great hire.

Taggart at FSU is going to be a major threat for every school that wants to recruit in Florida.

Agree. Imo fisher wants out and would’ve left for Lsu. But alleva wouldn’t pay that kinda money for fisher. Which was understandable considering u must pay his staff and when Lsu is on the hook for 10m$ to miles. Jimbo is overrated a bit but is a solid coach and a&m has the resources. So imo not a bad hire at all

And when he doesn't, the Aggy spin will be:

1. He's playing with Sumlin recruits!

2. We wanted to lose so our OC would be fired!

3. We wanted to lose so our DC would be fired!

4. God only knows
