It's funny how you think hiring Jimbo really bothers us. It probably would have last year or the year before. Jimbo just finished the 2017 season 5-6 at FSU with roster made up of 4 straight top 5 recruiting classes. LSU hasn't finished with a season that bad in this millenium. Most of us are glad that we didn't have to find out the hard way that Jimbo isn't all that. Personally, Jimbo barbs bother me about as much as corndog jokes.

That’s a lot of words to tell us you don’t care about our new coach...

Not nearly as many words as we are getting from Aggy trying to rub salt in a wound that just doesn't exist.

We brought you into the league to beat Bama and you have only done it once, but you have been close a few times

Yup LSU'S failed attempts to steal Jimbo really fricked up his locker room at that program.

I guess we have y'all to thank for shaking that golden apple down from a tree that is too tall for the Aggies to reach.

Yeah we can't all schedule powerhouses like Troy

Troy would have beaten A&M by 20 this year. That's a fact.

A&M hasn't lost to a Sun Belt team since 2008. Fact.

Wow!! That might be the most off-the-wall rationalization for failure ever. By the way, my daughter is an FSU alum so I end up having to watch alot of FSU games and I'm telling you, Jimbo is no miracle worker. Jimbo's 2014 loss to Oregon, last year's loss to Louisville and this years loss to Boston College with FSU's talent were MUCH worse than any loss Orgeron had at Ole Miss. Hell, they were probably THE 3 worst losses in the last 40 years of FSU football.

At Ole Miss Coach O lost to Wyoming, Wake Forrest, Big 12 Mizzou twice, Vanderbilt twice and Kentucky with much better Ole Miss talent.

GTFO!! Of the team that Orgeron inherited and coached from 2005-2007, Ole Miss had a total of 3 players selected in the NFL draft from 2006-2008 - the 3 drafts held after the year he coached Ole Miss. Every game Nick Saban has lost in the last 7-8 years and many that he lost at LSU and Bama before that, he lost with much better talent. That's going to happen. But neither he nor Orgeron lost those games by 5 touchdowns. I'm not even mentioning Jimbo losing a bowl game by 14 when FSU was a 7-point favorite.

Losing to the team that lost to Troy by a whopping score of 45-21 must really suck.

Anyways, I'm not worried about A&M with Jimbo. He looks done. He may have signed that big contract, but he looks defeated. A&M is simply getting FSU's sloppy seconds. They were glad that he was gone, which says it all.

Just look at the pictures. It's obvious Jimbo is mentally drained. He looks like he's aged significantly. He looks tired. He looks worn out. And he looks like he needs a break. It's easy to see why FSU had such a horrible season. Low energy. No stamina.

It's obvious he's no longer in any condition to coach winning SEC football, and raise that program out of softness. It will show in the fall. A&M should have just flushed all that money down the toilet. It would have done the same thing.

It bothers me and a sizable portion of the LSU fanbase that prefers Fisher to Orgeron. I respect Fisher's credentials as a head coach a lot more than Orgeron's.

But then I don't feel the need to have Ed Orgeron as head coach and lust after Kevin Mawae for offensive line coach because of their ties to Louisiana. I demand more from my coaches than them being Louisiana natives or former players at LSU.
