Oh I'm sure we'll hear this company line a lot next Sunday. By then I'll know their height, weight, and zodiac sign

LSU outplayed us in 2010... and would have regardless of the stadium the game was played in.

Against a team with a lame duck coach that is destined for 6-6, IF everything goes their way the rest of the season. Count me in with the unimpressed crowd.

Don't know whether it was the beatdown or the loss of Mathieu but the Tigers seem to be missing a spark this year.

Not sure how the loss of 3 Olinemen would explain how Florida could run the ball down your throat 25 straight times for the win.
I think someone may have taken LSU's manhood last January.
Looks like ya'll are coming around though, with impressive wins over USC and A&M.
Still a lot of football to be played, with each school having several chances to step on its own pecker.
Think LSU misses the Honeybadger more than they want to admit.
Turnovers and punt returns are both down from last year.

Doesnt change the fact that 107,000 people make a lot of noise. That was my point, which us why I responded to the guy saying crowd noise would make a difference. Theyve all played in loud stadiums.

That 12-10 annihilation of Auburn sure was impressive though...

It actually does in a way, but you have to look at the big picture.
With our missing starters on Offense, particularly the OLine, we couldn't move the ball to save our life. That left the defense on the field for most of the game. It slowly wore starters and reserves down. When LB's Alexander and Minter went out UF capitalized and scored after OBJ fumbled in their territory. Say it's an excuse all you want, but it caused our downfall.

You LSU fans need to go back into your cages for a week. Some of us don't get to sit around an extra week AGAIN before playing Bama.

Or you could say that your defense's inability to stop 25 straight runs was the reason your defense wore down. Surely a defense can last three plays if you force a three and out.

Please tell me you aren't comparing UT's crowd to Death Valley on a Saturday Night with Saban & Bama coming to town.......please tell me that's not what you're doing.

Maybe you should check some stats. We lead the league in forcing 3 and outs. I don't think that was the problem. Injuries on offense and two key positions on defense were the difference maker.

Death Valley on a Saturday Night
I realize that Death Valley is one of the loudest and most intimidating places to play in all of CFB, but I take comfort in the fact that a talented and experienced Oline and QB will be able to manage the situation appropriately.
It is not going to be like Mett's first away game at AU. This is not Bama's first rodeo.

Because you obviously don't know shite about football. When did those drives occur? How many yards rushing did UF have in the 1st half? What was the time of possession disparity by the end of the game?
I'll sum it up for you, since you probably wouldn't find it, anyway. LSU couldn't run the ball and sustain any drives, especially in the second half. The O Line was getting it handed to them. The D, which absolutely destroyed UF's offense the entire first half, wore down in the second. Despite this, they still only gave up the two scores.
Due to injuries and Hurst leaving, the line was completely overhauled after that game. This patchwork new line has racked up two 200 yard rushing performances in a row. I'm not saying that LSU is going to run at will on Bama, but don't be stupid. The D's one bad run was due to an offense that didn't hold up its end. As long as the offense isn't going 3 and out, it doesn't matter if they score a ton. The D will stay fresh, and the Tigers will be able to hang in with anyone, Bama included.

Never been to neyland have you Steve? It's comical how lsu fans think that TS is so much louder than everywhere else. It's not Steve, if you wandered out of Louisiana every now and then for a game you would know that

legitimate question: what is mccarron's best road win as a starter? this isn't a pointed question, i am legitimately curious. would it be Penn State?

I went to Neyland in 2011 an it wasn't that loud. Then again LSU spanked that arse and had the ball for about 25 minutes in the 2nd half.

That's much better than saying UT's crowd and DV on Nov 3rd will be similar.
I happen to love the offense that Bama runs and hope LSU can contain AJ and make him throw deeper patterns and we control the running game.
But, the biggest thing will be LSU needs to control the damn ball a few possessions and not go 3 and out to many times.
Not to mention, we need to get at least 17 to win this game....IMO.
