You know teams do change throughout the year.
Tennessee beat LSU in Week 2 of 2005.
LSU went on to finish 11-2 and Tennessee finished 5-6. Was Tennessee a better team that season?
LSU's backups smoked Tennessee in the 2001 SEC Championship Game and destroyed your entire program in the process. But despite that one game, Tennessee was probabaly still a better team back then.

I don't see what 20 year old games have to do with anything being discussed right now. 40-13 last season. We were better than you last season, from beginning to end.

Yea, I didn't think your brain would be able to comprehend what I was illustrating.
Basically teams change throughout the year. Some get better, some get worse. Sometimes that happens multiple times like it did with us last year.
We never got a chance to see how it would have gone later in the season since yall didn't make it to Atlanta.

UT was a better team than LSU all season long last year. So your analogy simply isn't relevant.
