He knows after next season is his shot. He didn't bother recruiting HS kids too much and is spending all the NIL funds on immediate impact transfers. With all the talent returning he knows next year is his shot to win big enough to get a better job offer and get the hell out of Ole Miss.

Enjoy next year Ole Miss fans, because Lane will likely be gone after it, and the cupboard will be pretty bare for the next coach due to Kiffin’s High School recruiting, or lack thereof .

Don't be surprised if they find an off season championship in there somewhere.

It’s like giving a 12 year old kid a bunch of money and sending them into a candy store. Kiffin has no impulse control and is blowing his wad on a 1 year run haha

Good lord. We’ve won 28 games in three years so far, have had the best portal class two of three years, and just signed a top 20 high school class. What you’re seeing right now is Kiffin making his mind up that he can get it done at Ole Miss and fully engaging.

Didn’t Saban show off his luxury sportscar to a recruit this year to impress him?

Yep. Saban also dragged his sac across Kiffin and Ole Piss’s faces this year

I mean, between TA&M, Ole Piss, and AU all being back in 2024… I guess we will have to crown 3 National Champs

If OM can’t get it done next year with their easy arse schedule then they never will.

The way college football is getting, the pros looks like a retirement job. Just have to coach and not worry about boosters, recruiting, transfers, NIL, etc etc. Pros looking better all the time.

I think nil made it easier on college because now it’s about what one can get and who is offering more. Players never really gave a shite about the intangibles like a college education.

Ole Miss is my dark horse favorite to win the SEC next year. Things are falling into place nicely.

Out spending everyone in the country on transfers is easy when you didnt spend any recruiting good high school players. Ole Miss only signed 3 high school players ranked in the top 200.

Lane is building for this year, he doesn't care what happens to Ole Miss after he leaves.
